The Daikin FTXM50W Alira X is a premium 5.0kW reverse-cycle split-system air conditioner designed for living rooms, larger offices and other medium-sized spaces. It combines powerful inverter heating and cooling with long-reach airflow, Streamer air-cleaning technology and built-in Wi-Fi control.
The complete system includes the FTXM50WVMA indoor unit and RXM50WVMA outdoor unit.

Air-Quality Technology
The FTXM50W incorporates three complementary air-quality technologies:
A washable prefilter captures larger airborne particles.
The Enzyme Blue deodorising filter helps reduce unpleasant odours.
Streamer technology assists with the decomposition of trapped allergens, mould, pollen, odours and other pollutants.
Mould-Proof operation dries the interior of the indoor unit after cooling or dry operation, helping reduce conditions that can contribute to mould and odour development.

Important Information
The Wi-Fi adaptor is factory fitted; a separate BRP-series adaptor is not required.
The 50-class model uses the standard Intelligent Eye occupancy sensor rather than the 2-Area Intelligent Eye fitted to the 20–46 class models.
Smartphone control requires a compatible wireless network and the supported Daikin application.
Professional installation by a suitably licensed air-conditioning technician is required.
Actual room suitability depends on insulation, glazing, ceiling height, orientation and local climate.
