The Fujitsu Airstage UTY-TWRXZ2 is a communication interface kit required when installing a compatible two-wire wired controller on selected Fujitsu Comfort, Comfort Cooling, Lifestyle and Lifestyle Next wall-mounted indoor units.
Installed inside the indoor unit, the kit provides the communication PCB, terminal block and internal wiring needed to connect controllers such as the UTY-RVRY Kagami, UTY-RNRYT5 touch-panel controller and compatible simple wired controllers.

The UTY-TWRXZ2 is not normally required for Fujitsu ducted, bulkhead, cassette, floor-console or VRF indoor units that already incorporate a compatible wired-controller connection or use a different interface arrangement.

Important Information
The UTY-TWRXZ2 is a complete communication kit, not simply a controller cable.
This product is the communication interface only. The wired controller and field-installed two-core controller cable are sold separately.
It is required only where the selected wall-mounted indoor unit does not have a factory-installed two-wire controller interface.
Lifestyle Next systems include a Wi-Fi arrangement, but the UTY-TWRXZ2 may still be required if a separate two-wire wired controller is added.
The kit is not used for the standard wireless remote controller.
It is not required to connect the UTY-NXT-BOX Wi-Fi adaptor, which uses a separate connection arrangement.
Compatibility must be confirmed using the complete indoor-unit model number, including its suffix.
Installation requires removal of the indoor unit’s front panel and electrical covers.
Power must be isolated before installation.
Installation should only be completed by a suitably qualified air-conditioning technician.
