A-Gas R410A HFC Refrigerant
R410A is an HFC refrigerant blend used mainly in air-conditioning systems and selected low-temperature refrigeration applications.
Designed as a substitute for R22 and R13B1 in suitable systems, R410A is a near azeotropic blend containing R32 and R125. It offers higher efficiency compared with R22, but it is not a retrofit replacement because R410A operates at much higher pressures. System components must be suitable for R410A operating conditions before use.

R410A must be handled by appropriately licensed refrigeration and air-conditioning technicians. As a near azeotropic refrigerant blend, it must be charged from the liquid phase to maintain accurate composition during installation and service.
A-Gas notes that R410A is not a retrofit replacement for R22 because of its much higher operating pressures. Always confirm the system, compressor oil and components are suitable for R410A before use. Compressors must be charged with polyolester oil. Store cylinders in a cool, dry and well-ventilated area, away from direct sunlight, and refer to the current A-Gas Safety Data Sheet and equipment manufacturer guidance before use.
