iZone C325MHI2 Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Air-Conditioner Interface Module
The iZone C325MHI2 is a communication interface designed to connect an iZone C225 control system with compatible Mitsubishi Heavy Industries ducted air conditioners. It enables integrated air-conditioning and zoning control through the iZone touchscreen, temperature sensors and mobile app when a Smart Hub is installed.
Key Features
Integrates compatible MHI systems with the iZone C225 CPU
Controls system on/off, operating mode, set temperature and fan speed
Supports return-air, zone, master and RF temperature-sensor control
Suitable for selected single-phase and three-phase ducted systems
Connects through the indoor unit’s X/Y remote-controller circuit
Communication polarity is not critical
App control available when connected to an iZone Smart Hub

Newer MHI VRF installations may require the C325MHI3. Always confirm the complete indoor and outdoor model numbers before ordering.
Connection Requirements
Connects to the MHI indoor unit’s X/Y remote-controller terminals
Polarity is not critical
Requires shielded two-core twisted-pair control cable
Communication cable is supplied by the installer
Connect the X/Y control wire to the AC Unit Control Cable connection on the C225/C325MHI2
Important Installation Information
The MHI proprietary controller and iZone controller cannot be connected to the indoor PCB simultaneously
Master/slave controller operation is not available with iZone on MHI systems
The MHI controller may be required during commissioning to configure the indoor unit’s static pressure
iZone recommends checking the static-pressure setting before removing the MHI controller and connecting the C325MHI2
Always commission the air conditioner with the MHI controller before completing the iZone connection.
