Appion MegaFlow™ 1/4" Speed-Y – SPDY14

The Appion SPDY14 MegaFlow Speed-Y is a high-flow Y-fitting designed for fast HVAC-R evacuation and refrigerant recovery. Its large internal flow path allows two 3/8" service hoses to connect to a single 1/4" port without the restrictions typically associated with a traditional manifold.

Manufactured from aircraft-grade aluminium, the SPDY14 is vacuum rated to 20 microns and designed for high-pressure refrigerants including R410A.

Appion's current SPDY14 listing specifies a 1/4" swivel fitting O-ring kit as the compatible repair kit, and Appion's OEM parts catalogue identifies KTMV40 as its 1/4" swivel-fitting O-ring kit.

The SPDY14 is particularly useful for high-flow evacuation and recovery setups where two 3/8" hoses need to be combined into a single 1/4" connection while keeping flow restriction and potential leak points to a minimum.
