iZone in Duct Supply Plenum Temp Sensor

iZone CDTS In-Duct Temperature Sensor

The iZone CDTS is an in-duct temperature sensor that monitors supply-air temperature within an iZone-controlled ducted air-conditioning system. It provides the C225 CPU with the temperature information required to correctly manage climate-controlled zone dampers during heating and cooling operation.

The CDTS is required whenever iZone zone-temperature sensors are used for climate control.

Key Features

  • Measures supply-air temperature inside the ductwork

  • Enables correct climate-zone damper operation in heating and cooling modes

  • Helps prevent unsuitable hot or cold air from entering temperature-controlled zones

  • Connects directly to the dedicated CDTS port on the C225 CPU

  • Supplied with an approximately 3-metre cable and RJ11 plug

  • Allows supply-air temperature to be viewed through compatible iZone interfaces

  • Recommended for diagnostic and system-support purposes

Installation Information

Install the sensor:

  • In the main supply-air plenum

  • As close as practical to the indoor unit’s discharge

  • Upstream of all zone dampers

  • With the probe inserted fully into the airflow

Secure and seal the probe entry point with reinforced aluminium tape to prevent air leakage.

Connect the RJ11 cable to the dedicated CDTS port on the C225 CPU. Do not connect it to a zone-motor port.
