Appion 1/4" Core Control Tool – CCT14

The Appion CCT14 is a vacuum-rated 1/4" Core Control Tool designed to give technicians precise control over Schrader valve cores during charging, diagnostics and evacuation work.

Unlike a standard fitting that fully depresses the valve core as soon as it is connected, the CCT14 allows controlled engagement of the Schrader core. This helps minimise refrigerant loss when connecting gauges and gives better control when working with high-flow valve cores. Its back-seat sealing design also makes it useful for isolating a vacuum gauge during evacuation.

Service & Replacement Parts

The KTMV50 is Appion’s current maintenance kit covering the 1/4" CCT14 and 5/16" CCT516 Core Control Tools, as well as its valve core removal tools. The kit contains 10 swivel-fitting O-rings and 10 stem-assembly O-ring sets.

The CCT14 is particularly useful when connecting digital stub gauges, accurately charging a system or isolating a vacuum gauge where control of the Schrader valve is more important than completely removing the valve core.
