Appion 5/16" Core Control Tool – CCT516
The Appion CCT516 is a vacuum-rated 5/16" Core Control Tool designed for precise control of Schrader valve depression on ductless, mini-split and other systems using 5/16" service ports.
Its low-loss design allows technicians to control exactly when the valve core is depressed, helping minimise refrigerant loss during charging and diagnostics. The back-seat seal also allows the tool to isolate a vacuum gauge during evacuation, helping protect the gauge from unnecessary exposure.

The KTMV50 is Appion’s maintenance kit for both the CCT14 and CCT516, as well as Appion’s 1/4" and 5/16" Valve Core Removal Tools. It contains 10 swivel-fitting O-rings and 10 stem-assembly O-ring sets.
The CCT516 is especially useful for mini-split and ductless service work where controlled valve-core engagement is preferred over simply depressing the Schrader valve as soon as a hose or gauge is connected.
