Appion MegaFlow™ 1/2" Speed-Y – SPDY12

The Appion SPDY12 MegaFlow Speed-Y is a high-flow Y-fitting designed to connect two evacuation or recovery hoses to a single vacuum pump or recovery-machine port.

Its large internal diameter provides an unrestricted flow path compared with a traditional manifold arrangement, helping maximise conductance during HVAC-R evacuation and refrigerant recovery. The SPDY12 is particularly useful on larger or multi-port systems where multiple hoses need to be connected simultaneously.

Appion identifies a 1/2" gasket kit as the compatible repair kit for the SPDY12. Its OEM catalogue identifies the corresponding KT11GG-R as the 1/2" MegaFlow gasket 10-pack.

The SPDY12 is a useful addition to high-flow evacuation setups, particularly where a vacuum pump has limited connection ports and multiple large-diameter hoses are required.
